Attractions

Amtrak Depot
The Amtrak Depot opened in June 1907. The train travels all across North Dakota and can be used for traveling across the nation. The building is well constructed, elegantly furnished, and has every convenience available for travelers.

Dale & Martha Hawk Museum
The shout if a pioneer farmer telling his horse to move, and the sound of a plow digging into prairie ground can almost be heard when you walk through the Dale and Martha Hawk Museum, located 4 miles east and 3 miles north of Wolford ND.

Geographical Center of North America
In January 1931, a U.S. Geographical Survey determined the center of North America in Pierce County. The Survey Bulletin Number 817 States.

Niewoehner Bell Tower
Dale G. Niewoehner, Niewoehner Funeral Home in Rugby, has changed the skyline of Rugby with the construction of a 30 foot tower containing 15 bells at his funeral home.

Northern Lights Tower
This 88 1/2 foot tall illuminated steel structure, coated with multi-colored shades of metalic paint is dedicated to on of Northern Plains' most stunning natural phenomena, the spectacular beauty of the Aurora Borealis.

Peace Garden
Straddling the U.S. - Canadian border of North Dakota and Manitoba is one of the greatest symbols of peace. Each year, more than 150,000 people from around the world visit the park to enjoy its colorful gardens, landscapes and wilderness areas.

Pierce County Fairgrounds
This is where the fun happens with stock car racing, rodeos, and circuses. Also located at the fairgrounds is a skate park with rail slides and quarter pipes, guaranteed to challenge the pro skaters in rugby.

The Historic Pierce County Courthouse
As one approaches the city of Rugby from any direction, the first thing that attracts the eye is the beautiful and massive structure with its dome of graceful outlines. As one approaches nearer, its beauty and massiveness becomes more apparent. A brief description, though we do not feel competent to do it justice, follows.

Victorian Dress Museum
The church was closed in 1978 and deconsecrated in 1991. It is now called the Victorian Dress Museum. A collection of 23 reproduction - prize winning - Victorian style dress are displayed with accessories in the building.
